About Me

I am an upcoming first-year PhD student in Linguistics at UC Berkeley, primarily interested in morphosyntax, its interfaces, and language documentation and revitalization. Prior to my graduate studies, I completed a BA in Linguistics and Mathematics at McGill University (2020–2024).
My native language is English, and I’m originally from Chelmsford, MA, in the Boston area (yes, I lack the Mary-merry merger).
Some fun facts about me:
- My first word was “turtle.”
- When I was in 11th grade, my a cappella group was third in the nation!
- Aside from linguistics, I enjoy being outside, biking, singing and songwriting, spending time with friends and animals, doing puzzles (jigsaws and crosswords), and reading (anything, with a soft spot for contemporary poetry, anthropology, and queer narratives).
